Introducing the Lithic Quick Start Guide

Today, we’re releasing a Quick Start Guide to help you learn the basics of how to use our card issuing API and what it’s like to integrate with our product. Most importantly, the guided experience will help you get to an MVP in under 20 minutes!

If you’re interested in building a card product or leveraging one of our card issuing features, this guide will make it easy to get started.

Start building your MVP in minutes

In the past, if you wanted to start building with our card issuing API you would have to read through various documentation pages to figure out how to navigate our platform. This guide significantly shortens that time with various tutorials that are each just a couple of minutes long.

Our goal is to help you:

• Understand the building blocks of card issuing and how it can drive your business goals.
• Learn how to use our API without having to read through long-form guides.

The guided experience features nine sections that will walk you through various actions including how to generate an API key, send requests, create a card, customize authorizations, securely display card numbers to end users, and go live. Each step provides embedded code samples using our client-side libraries (Typescript and Python) and cURL.

We’re working on making Lithic the most developer-friendly card issuing platform. By publishing this guide, we aim to keep our products easy and accessible, even as we build out new functionality and support a growing set of use cases.
